It was an unfortunate day for the entertainment industry as actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday morning. The actor is survived by his mother and two sisters. It was reported that his rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill was by his side when he breathed his last. His death came as a massive shock for his fans and members of the family and film fraternity. Celebs and fans took to social media to offer their condolences.
Sidharth was cremated at Oshiwara. The actor's mortal remains were taken from the Cooper Hospital to Oshiwara Crematorium, where his last rites were performed. According to News 18, the actor's body was to be taken to his residence first but it was later decided to take it directly to the crematorium.
The cremation happened as per Brahma Kumaris rituals. Speaking about it, Tapaswini Ben from Brahma Kumaris had said that Sidharth Shukla followed Brahma Kumari and studied the daily discourse. Furthermore, she also added that the late actor's mother also is a Brahma Kumari follower. Talking about Sidharth's mother, she said, "It is a shock for his mother but our study and teachings help people stay strong." Several celebrities including Aly Goni, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Vikas Gupta and Aarti Singh arrived at the late actor’s residence in Andheri to pay their last respects. Shehnaaz Gill was also present along with her brother and the late actor's family members. She is completely heartbroken and inconsolable. The actress' pictures are going viral and fans are heartbroken. One fan wrote, "My heart is screaming. Please God bless her," another wrote, "Sana more power to you. You are a strong girl. Plzz be strong. I can't stop crying seeing her like that."
