The decision taken by the Indian government to ban 59 Chinese applications, including TikTok, has opened to a positive response across the country. Many people, including celebrities, are coming forth in the support of this move. Now, joining the likes of Kushal Tandon, Siddharth Nigam, Malaika Arora, Nia Sharma and Rashami Desai among others is TV hunk and Bigg Boss 13 winner, Sidharth Shukla. The Dil Se Dil Tak actor, in a conversation with India Today Television, revealed that he has never been on TikTok and didn't like watching videos out there. He further lauded the government on putting an official ban on 59 Chinese applications.

Sidharth Shukla said, "I have never been on TikTok and neither do I like watching TikTok videos. I am completely with the government on their decision to ban Chinese apps." Sidharth continued how this has opened gates for all the Indian companies to invent their own applications and provide the same kind of entertainment to all the citizens. "Here's a chance for Indian companies to develop their own app and give the people their desired entertainment, which will help them create a good market in their own country," said the actor.

Well, several TikTokers like Jannat Zubair, Ashnoor Kaur and Javed Hyder among others, too, have welcomed this move with open arms.


In other news, Sidharth Shukla has reportedly come on board for the third season of ALTBalaji's Broken But Beautiful. However, the official announcement is yet to be made and the leading lady hasn't been finalised so far. We wait!
