A new reality show 'Smart Jodi' is making headlines for multiple reasons. The celebrity reality show will feature popular celebs and their real-life partners battle it out against each other in fun tasks. Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt-Aishwarya Sharma, Arjun Bijlani-Neha Swami, Balraj Syal-Deepti Tuli are among few celebrity couples who are a part of the show. Well, many might've guessed that Ankita-Vicky is the highest paid celebrity couple on the show. Let us tell you, you're wrong!
According to a report in BollywoodLife, Bhagyashree and her husband Himaya are charging a whopping amount for the show.
BollywoodLife quoted a source saying, "It is Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dassani who are getting the maximum. They are charging Rs ten lakh per episode. She is a Bollywood face and still very popular. Infact, the whole team of Smart Jodi is very surprised with the entertainment quotient that her husband Himalaya Dassani has brought to the show. He is very jovial and the whole unit adores him. Earlier, the makers of Smart Jodi shared a promo of Bhagyashree and Himalaya Dassani in which both shared their love story with other contestants. The couple also grooved to the song 'Maine Pyar Kiya'.
BollywoodLife further reported that the second highest-paid couple on the show is Ankita Lokhande-Vicky Jain. They are charging a whopping Rs 7 Lakh per episode.
In the promo, Ankita recalled going through a bad phase in her life and mentioned that whenever she needed Vicky, he was always there for her. "I had a different perception of love but Vicky made me understand a new definition of love," she added.
Smart Jodi will air on Star Plus from February 26.
