Former actor and Union Cabinet Minister for Textiles and Women and Child Development Smriti Irani recently announced that she tested positive for Coronavirus on her Twitter handle which was then followed by many 'get well soon' messages from her fans and followers. Even people from the entertainment industry wished for her good health. Her bestie and the one who gave a breakthrough role in Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Ekta Kapoor had a strong message for her. Knowing that she is a politician and will do whatever for the betterment of the world, Ekta requested Irani to do one particular thing which is currently hovering over the world and that is the Novel Coronavirus. Well, sharing a throwback picture on her Instagram Stories, Kapoor requested Smriti to kick Coronavirus out.

She wrote "My bestie please kick Corona out" along with an adorable selfie of herself with Smriti Irani. Sharing the news about her  having contracted the  virus, Smriti Irani had tweeted, “It is rare for me to search for words while making an announcement; hence here’s me keeping it simple — I’ve tested positive for #COVID and would request those who came in contact with me to get themselves tested at the earliest.” 

Ever since she made the announcement, good wishes and get well soon messages have been pouring in for the former actress. Celebs such as Anita Hassanandani, Rohit Reddy, Karishma Tanna, Gul Panag, Karanvir Bohra, Mandira Bedi, Neena Gupta, Vikas Gupta among others have sent messages wishing her a speedy recovery.

As the former actress shares a close bond with Ekta Kapoor, earlier, the producer made an appreciation post for her BFF featuring the timeline of her accomplishments and journey. Ekta Kapoor shared an interesting video of Smriti Irani’s journey from winning the Femina Miss India 1998 to being a minister today.
