Smriti Khanna Opens Up On Panicking During Pregnancy After Reading About A Pregnant Woman Testing Positive For COVID-19

Amid the lockdown, Television’s adorable couple Smriti Khanna and Gautam Gupta welcomed their princess on April 15, 2020. The couple has been enjoying the new phase ever since and their Insta pictures are proof. It will soon be a month of them welcoming their daughter, congratulatory messages and best wishes continue to pour in. A few days back, Smriti and Gautam announced their baby girl’s name, Anayka.
But apparently this pregnancy journey was not as easy as it seemed for the actress. During her latest interview, Smriti Khanna opened up on being scared to go the hospital for the check-ups during the pregnancy. She revealed he had panicked. She told Hindustan Times, “When I read about a pregnant woman tested positive for Covid-19, I panicked.”However, later she decided to overcome her fear.
She told the website, “Of course, the doctors will tell you the basic things that we must do but it is important to know what questions to ask our doctor. After the delivery, I started getting a lot of questions on social media on how to take care of yourself and the baby amid this health crisis. Staying positive and taking all the preventive measures is very important.”
Well, that apart! Smriti Khanna also spilled the beans on what their baby girl’s name Anayka means.
