Smriti Khanna Reveals She Is Trying To Conceive Her Second Baby; Actress Says, ‘It Is Not Happening For Me’
Smriti Khanna opened up about her experience after giving birth to her Gautam Gupta’s first baby Anayka and revealed that they are currently trying for their second baby
Television actress Smriti Khanna, who made a name for herself in the industry by portraying gray-shade characters in serials, is currently living her best life. An influencer and a vlogger, she often takes to social media to talk about her experiences and share personal anecdotes about her life. A mother to an adorable 3-year-old daughter Anayra, she recently revealed that she and her husband Gautam Gupta are trying for a second baby.
The 33-year-old actress opened up about her first pregnancy experience and also revealed that she is finding it difficult to conceive her second baby. Stressing on the fact that all pregnancies are different even for the same person, Smriti shared that she and Gautam have been trying for baby number 2 for a while. Quoted by ETimes, she said, “Each pregnancy is different. I have been trying to plan a second baby since a while, but it is not happening for me. So every pregnancy is different for the same person. Second pregnancy can be difficult.”
Having welcomed her daughter Anayra in April 2020, she recalled the time she had shared a photo of her upper abs a week after delivering her daughter. She expressed how she was brutally trolled by the netizens for flaunting her abs. While some commented on how she is circulating photoshopped photos of herself a week after the delivery, others slammed her for going to the gym. Some even mocked her. She stated that since she had not gained much weight during her first pregnancy, she had lost weight post-delivery. She was in her 30s when she conceived Anayra and they had planned for it.
For the unversed, having made a mark in the industry with her portrayal of Ritika Zaveri in Radhika Madan and Shakti Arora starrer Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Smriti Khanna fell in love with her now-husband Gautam Gupta while working on the show. They tied the knot in 2017 and welcomed their daughter in 2020.
