Sumeet Vyas Opens Up On Wife Ekta Kaul’s Due Date, Fatherhood, Baby’s Name And Dad-To-Be Phase- EXCLUSIVE
In an exclusive conversation with SpotboyE, Sumeet Vyas opened up about his wife Ekta Kaul’s pregnancy journey and their baby’s name, shopping and many more things
TV actress Ekta Kaul and Sumeet Vyas are expecting their baby number 1. A few weeks back, Ekta had taken to social media and shared the good news on social media surprising one and all. After keeping their pregnancy under wraps for quite a few months, the couple made an official announcement. While the couple continues to look forward to having the baby, Sumeet Vyas’s new show Bhootiyagiri is already streaming on MX Player. SpotboyE got in touch with the Veere Di Wedding to talk about the show and many other things.
During the long interview about Bhootiyagiri with SpotboyE, we also happen to ask him about his the new phase that he’s all set to enter- fatherhood. When we asked how much he’s enjoying the dad-to-be phase, he said, “Sometimes there are bouts where I feel little scared about how my life is completely gonna change from here on. Then there’s also a part of me who’s very happy because I always wanted to be a dad. Irrespective of the gender, we hope just the baby is safe. By the baby gets 1 or 2, things will be under control and we will be able to go out and take the baby to the part and do all those things that we plan to do.”
Further, when we asked him how Ekta’s pregnancy journey is going on during this lockdown period he told us, “She’s doing okay. She’s very well organised and has everything planned out. Like bachche ke kapde, first month me jo cheezein lagengi, she way ahead.” When asked about if they have zeroed down on any name, Vyas said, “No! We once have thought of the names. But then we thought let’s just have the baby first. Sometimes when you look at someone and the name comes to you.”
Towards the end when we asked him when their little bundle of joy is expected to arrive, he promptly replied, “Anytime now, actually. This is her ninth month, it could be the end of this month, or first or 2nd week of the next month or it just could be tomorrow. We are ready!”
During the conversation we took the opportunity to ask him if the couple has got some off and watched the web series together, he said, “ Since we had a busy morning, we will watch it now. Ekta is pregnant so there are other things that we sort out every morning. We will watch it aaram se in the evening.” When quizzed about how she if his wife and preggers Ekta has liked the trailer, he said, “She’s very honest. If she doesn’t like something she tells me. But she has liked this one. She said it’s a nice trailer, very fun and engaging.
