Surbhi Jyoti On Refusing Reality Shows, ‘I Don’t Have Competitive Spirit And Can’t Handle Pressure’- EXCLUSIVE
TV actress Surbhi Jyoti has been part of several popular shows but has steered clear of reality shows so far. In an exclusive chat with us, the actress revealed why she is not comfortable with reality shows
Television’s known face Surbhi Jyoti has some popular shows to her credit like Qubool Hai, Koi Lautke Aaya Hai, Ishqbaaaz and Naagin 3. But, she hasn’t attempted anything in the reality show genre so far. The actress who enjoys good amount of fan following has been in demand for these kind of shows, but she hasn’t given her nod to any of them, as yet.
So, during an Instagram LIVE chat with SpotboyE.com, Surbhi revealed the real reason for denying reality shows. The actress said, "I don't think I will ever do a reality show because I don't have that competitive spirit in me. The only thing I enjoy doing is acting; aur pressure mein to mujhse acting bhi nahi hoti. Since I can’t handle too much pressure, main bahut aaram se apni cheeze karna pasand karti hoon.”
Currently, Surbhi's first TV show Qubool Hai is being re-telecast and the actress is extremely happy about it. Sharing her excitement, Surbhi said, "I feel nostalgic as that was my first show and I have received so much love for it. Now as it’s being re-telecast, my fans are watching it, tagging my scenes on social media through editing. It’s just so heart-touching. Qubool Hai was the only show of mine which ran for a good 3-and-half years. Thanks to the producer and creatives who didn't make it look like a daily soap by dragging the story. We have done four seasons of the same show and I played five characters. Hence, the viewers didn’t get bored. Post that, Koi Lautke Aaya Hai, Naagin 3 were all finite shows, while my web show Tanhaiyan was a 10-episode series.”
