Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Actor’s Pavitra Rishta Co-star Deepak Qazir Says, ‘It’s Homicide, Will Only Say Suicide If CBI Shows Proof’
Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report has been as mysterious as the actor's death. SSR allegedly ended his life on June 14 and Mumbai police called it a suicide within a few hours of his death. Later the post-mortem report revealed, the reason for the actor's death is asphyxia due to hanging. Last month, the AIIMS forensic department chief, Dr Sudhir Gupta had revealed to Republic that they will look into the possibility of murder in Sushant Singh Rajput death case. They had clearly mentioned that not only a homicide but all probable angles will be thoroughly examined. Now yesterday, a Times Now report stated that a CBI source confirmed to them that the Homicide angle is not ruled out and CBI report will be conclusive.

However, Sushant’s Pavitra Rishta co-star Deepak Qazir continues to call his death a ‘homicide’. The actor, who did not meet SSR post his break-up with Ankita Lokhande said he will call it suicide if CBI will show proof. Speaking to India Today, when Deepak was asked why he feels it’s not a suicide but a homicide, he said, “I am telling all this on the basis of media reports and I will change my statement only after the CBI shows facts that it's a suicide and not a murder. But until that time, it's my theory that it's a homicide.” “A person could change in five years but as much as I knew Sushant, he always used to write, and if he commits suicide, then where is the suicide note," asked Deepak.

He also questioned Mumbai Police for calling it a suicide without proof. He added, “How could the Mumbai Police declare it a suicide without proof?” He also added, SSR, “was earning well and doing good films. So he could not commit suicide. [I believe] it's homicide.”
