Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Aishwarya Sakhuja REACTS To Reports Of Playing Dayaben: ‘I Tested For The Role But I Don't Think I Am Doing It’

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is one of the longest-running shows on Indian television and is entertaining the audience for the last many years. The characters have gotten great recognition from the audience and are loved by them. In fact, actors are more popular by their character names. Meanwhile, there are speculations that Aishwarya Sakhuja was approached for playing Dayaben.
One of the most loved characters in the comedy serial was Dayaben which was portrayed by Disha Vakani. Since her exit from the show in 2017 due to her maternity break, fans have been missing her. Recently producer Asit Modi also announced that they’ll introduce Dayaben soon. There are reports that Aishwarya Sakhuja will step in to play Dayaben. In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Sakhuja stated that she has auditioned for the character but won't go forward with portraying Dayaben. The 35-year-old mentioned, “I had tested for the role but I don't think I am doing it”.
The rumors also had it that Rakhi Vijan was roped in to play Dayaben, but she clarified through the Instagram post that she was never approached by the makers.
