‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ is undoubtedly one of the longest-running comedy shows on Sab TV which completed 3500 episodes. The audience have loved the characters to the extent that the actors are more popular by the characters’ names. Palak Sidhwani playing Sonu Bhide expressed her gratitude towards the makers for being part of the show as it completed 3500 episodes.
Palak Sidhwani who plays Sonu Bhide in the show spoke to LastestLy showing gratitude towards the producer and writer Asit Kumarr Modi and said, “I feel grateful everyday, and I thank my stars and our producer Asit sir for making me a part of this show and for for giving me this golden opportunity.”
Speaking about her association with the show she said, “It feels great to be a part of such an iconic show which completed 3,500 episodes recently and has been going on for the past 14 years. It is a blessing that I get to work with such senior actors and learn from them.”

Sidhwani joined the cast in 2019 relacing Nidhi Bhansushali. Apart from being an actor, she is a popular social media influencer and runs YouTube channel.
Recently, theatre artist Kiran Bhatt joined the cast and he will be playing Nattu Kaka. Previously, the character was played by Ghanshyam Nayak, who died last year after a long battle with cancer.
There were also rumors that Rakhi Vijan would join the cast as Dayaben, but through the social media post, she confirmed that she wasn’t approached for the role by the makers.
Until recently, many actors have left the show including Bhavya Gandhi playing Tapu, Nidhi Bhanushali essaying Sonu, Neha Mehta playing Anjali Bhabhi, Disha Vakani playing Dayaben, Shailesh Lodha playing titular character Taarak Mehta and now there ware news that Raj Anadkat paying Tapu is all set to bid adieu to the show before Christmas.
