Every character in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is unique and iconic. Be it Jethalal and Dayaben or Bhide and Madhavi, the members of Gokuldham society are indeed very fascinating. Mr and Mrs Hathi too are very entertaining, we must say. But did you Ambika Ranjankar who essays the role of Mrs Hathi in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was also a part of a saas-bahu serial which was produced by Ekta Kapoor? Yes, contrary to her role in TMKOC, Ambika played a very serious part in Ekta Kapoor's Kasamh Se.
Ambika, who has an Instagram account with name Hasmukhi recently went down the memory lane to relive some moments from Kasamh Se and shared a still from the show. In the picture, we can see her dressed in heavy saree, jewellery and has over-the-top makeup on. She shared this post with the caption, "Kasamh Se 2007 #balajitelefilms #kasamhse #throwback So many memories of this show and so many new friends...."
While we all know her as Mrs Hathi, this has truly come as a surprise to us all. Not just us, her 139k followers on Instagram are also pleasantly surprised to see this throwback post. Check out her post below:
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the shooting of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah may begin soon as the Government has eased down the lockdown. Dilip Joshi, who plays the role of Jethlalal recently spoke about going back on the sets and quoted to ETimes, "There is a little apprehension in all our minds but we have confidence in our production team’s efforts in ensuring our safety at work. We are eagerly waiting for the green signal and very soon we will be back to entertaining our viewers who have been so excitedly waiting for us. Without a doubt, we are excited to go back to work."
