The makers and actors of Television’s most-loved sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah are over the moon as it recently topped the list of Yahoo’s Most Searched movies and TV shows list. A couple of days back, Yahoo released a list of the most searched television shows and movies this year, and the first spot was grabbed by the popular comedy show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah leaving behind other popular shows such as Bigg Boss, and the Amazon Prime series Mirzapur, starring Ali Fazal and Pankaj Tripathi.
Overjoyed with the news, Dilip Joshi aka Jetha Lal shared his excitement on social media. Sharing the news grab on his Insta story, Dilip Joshi wrote, “So happy to hear about this! We could be, “the most searched” but we have “found” only and only love from you all. Thank you.” Taarak Mehta was followed by the mythological epic Mahabharat, which claimed the second spot, while Ramayan took the number four spot.
Not only that, Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara, got 3rd place on the list, while Tiger Shroff starrer Baaghi 3 came in at sixth spot. 7th place was taken by the most controversial reality show Bigg Boss.

Recently, Taarak Mehta’s producer Asit Modi was in the news after he tested positive for COVID-19. Taking to his Twitter account, Asit had tweeted, “After some symptoms of COVID19, I got myself tested & Report came positive. I have isolated myself.
