Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Fans Disappointed With Fresh Episodes Post Lockdown; Ask, 'Where's The Comedy?'
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is the longest running show on national television, and also a fan-favourite. Fans are crazy about TMKOC and appreciate it for the love, the positivity, humour, and values the show has to offer. After almost 4 months of no shooting, the show returned to the TV yesterday with fresh post-lockdown episodes. Producer Asit Modi also shared a tweet informing TMKOC fans about the time the show was to air on TV, yesterday. Now, after watching the first post-lockdown episode, TMKOC fans react and express their disappointment.

After watching the first post-lockdown episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, many fans took to social media to react and express their disappointment. A bundle of fans on Twitter shared their feelings through memes and spoke about how there was zero comedy in the first post-lockdown episode. Some fans pointed out how some actors being replaced from the show is not the same level the show was earlier.

On Twitter, one fan wrote, “#TMKOC Old episodes truly best. @AsitKumarrModi. We don't need renovation, fancy makeups and poor new generation jokes." The social media user tagged producer Asit Modi and mentioned the requirements of fans. The fan said that the audience does not need renovation, fancy makeup and poor new generation jokes.

Another social media user took to Twitter to share a meme and tweeted, “#TMKOC starts with zero comedy. Viewer be like-,” with a picture from Hrithik Roshan’s film Super 30, explaining the reaction of the audience after watching TMKOC’s new episodes. While the audience expressed their disappointment, many fans mentioned that the replacement of actors seems to be the main reason why the show is going off track in terms of comedy. Meanwhile, actress Disha Vakani aka Dayaben's long absence from the show was also felt by viewers as she was equally responsible for a major part of the humour quotient on the show.
