Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the most loved sitcoms by all the age groups in India. May it be a kid or our grandparents, everyone loves it to no end. Apart from Jetha Lal one of the most loved characters, everyone’s favourite is Dayaben played by Disha Vakani who made us laugh until she took her maternity break from the shoot of the show. There are no signs of her return to Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah ever since.
Now a picture of Disha Vakani from Gokuldham society is doing the rounds of social media and fans think that she has resumed the show once again. Well, we are sorry to burst your bubble but this is an old picture that sees Disha posing for a selfie. After seeing the picture, everyone feels that she is making her comeback on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi but that’s not the case. The selfie taken by Daya Ben at a Ganpati Mandal in the background is too pretty for words. The picture has Bapuji (on-screen father-in-law) and Komal Bhabhi.
Post the 4-month long hiatus, the makers of TMKOC decided to resume the shoot of the show minus Dayaben. Soon after the rumours of Daya Ben not returning to the show made headlines, producer Asit Kumar Modi had stated that he is looking for a perfect replacement for Disha Vakani.
Meanwhile, many other powerful characters like Sodhi and Anjali Bhabhi have already quit the show. We hope things fall into places for the makers and the audience is glued to their TV and phone screens.
