Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Bhide Responsible For Virat Kohli Getting Trolled? Actor Reacts- EXCLUSIVE
Internet users often shock and amuse our celebrities with memes and trolls. Something similar happened with Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Bhide aka Mandar Chandwadkar who was shocked to see people blaming  him of having taken a dig at Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli in Episode 2828. Basically, Virat Kolhi found a mention on the TRP topping show, where in a sequence on the latest episode you can see Mandar one of the characters on the show, trying to solve a riddle that reads, “Humesha jeetne wala.” Bhide answers to this without batting an eyelid – Virat Kohli, he says. At this point his daughter on the show Sonu (Palak Sidhwani)  interjects him and reminds him of India’s recent loss in the semis at ICC World Cup 2019.

Now, some over-enthusiastic viewers filmed the clip on their phones and shared it on Twitter where it’s going viral as we speak, with many suggesting that Bhide is a fan of MS Dhoni and not Virat Kohli which is why he said these lines. Looking at the seemingly unending tu-tu main-main on social media with a section of the Internet users also siding Virat, we felt that it would only be right if we speak to Mandar himself.

Talking from Nagpur EXCLUSIVELY to SpotboyE.com, Mandar said, "I was just reading all those comments, just before you called me. With your help, I want to clear  that Virat is being unnecessarily trolled. If a person has seen the episode he/she must be aware that the character I play of Bhide is simply trying to solve a riddle about  'Aisa kaun hai jo hamesha jeetta hai aur kabhi nahi haarta?'. And in a flow he says, 'Yeah, its Virat Kohli jo hamesha jeetta hai and kabhi nahi harta'. But my onscreen daughter Sonu interrupts and says, "But recently they lost the semis at the ICC World Cup 2019 didn't they?'. That's a normal thing there is no trolling about him that how did he loose? and why did he loose? It was just a dialogue written by writer and my character was saying that dialogue nothing else.

Mandar said (though not in so many words) that Virat is paying a price for being famous. "I have also mentioned Sikander, who was known for not losing any battle," he quipped.

When asked about people telling him that he prefers over Virat, Mandar said, "I am a fan of the entire Indian cricket team and not a specific player. We can't attribute a win or a loss to someone's name. It boils down to team-effort.In fact, if you ask me, I don't see anything bad in losing a match, after all its a sports."

Mandar is definitely upset with the netziens for making it a big issue. "There are a set of people who don't have much to do in their life and they get active on social media to pass their time. While doing this, they often write things they don't realise can become a big problem for others.

I hereby  request and convey to all that the dialogue in question was unintentional and the scene was driven by the script," he concluded.
