TV actor Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal was recently in the news after reports suggested that she has quit the show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It was speculated that the actress has exited the show after she wasn't spotted with the show's unit when it returned to Mumbai from Daman post lockdown restrictions were eased. Also, Jennifer has been missing from the show for the last two months. Now, in a recent interview, Jennifer has cleared the rumours and revealed that she is neither pregnant, nor she is quitting the show.
The actress also mentioned that she has been unwell and is ready to join the show when she gets a call. Setting the record straight, Mistry told ETimes, "I have been getting too many messages since last night if I have quit 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. Some are even asking if I am pregnant. The truth is far from otherwise. I have just not been well, of late.”
Jennifer revealed that she had requested the makers of TMKOC to exempt her from the shoot in Daman due to her ill-health.
"I had a lot of pain in the heel, which made my walk discomforting. I was on very strong medicines but the problem did not subside soon," Jennifer added. "It wasn't COVID but the fever only added to my woes," she further added.
As for joining the show after a short break, Jennifer mentioned that she is all ready to get back to shoot and is in touch with the team.
“I am in touch with the team and there's no problem. I don't know why people jump to conclusions based on their own whims and fancies," Jennifer concluded.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Mistry essays the role of Roshan Kaur Sodhi -- Gurucharan Singh aka Roshan Singh Harjeet Singh Sodhi's wife, in the hit sitcom Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.
