Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Producer Asit Modi Breaks Silence On Neha Mehta's Exit From The Show After 12 Years
SpotboyE.com was the first one to tell you that Neha Mehta, who used to essay the character of Anjali in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has quit the show. Though the producer and the actress didn't react to the news and kept things under wraps, however, recently Sunayana Fozdar stepping into Neha's shoes was made official by the makers. 

And now creator of the show, Asit Modi has finally spoken on Neha's exit.

In a statement issued by Asit Modi's team, it was stated, "Neha Mehta will always remain a part of the Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah family. 12 years of working together binds you in a relationship that cannot be easily expressed in words. The decision to part ways was mutually agreed on. Everyone in the team appreciates and values her contribution to Anjali Mehtta’s character and the show. And, if ever in the future we have an opportunity to include her in any of our projects, we will definitely seek her out." Last week, making her exit official, Neha had also shared a post on her Instagram, where she wrote, "Hello everyone, and thank you for everything. I've worked 12 amazing years at this amazing show (Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah) and I am forever thankful for the beautiful career I've had. To my amazing respected Asit Kumar Modi Ji, co-stars,tmkoc whole team, I appreciate the hard work you've done completing some of our beautiful journeys. I've never had so much fun before. I am so glad to be part of this show, but I will miss the spontaneity of the work and generosity of such brilliant colleagues. Thank you again and all the best for the future. Show must go on." Meanwhile, Sunayana as Anjali has gone onair and it will be interesting to see if the audience accepts the actress easily.
