Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is not only one of the longest-running shows on TV but also the most loved show. The show has been running for a decade now and characters like Dayaben, Jethalal, Bhide, Tapu Sena have become a household name and each one of them enjoy a huge fan following. The show not only aims to make others laugh but also ensures to send across a social and meaningful message to their viewers. That’s not it, what makes it even more special is that we also get to see top celebs like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn and any more gracing the show to promote their films. Having said that, fans do end up wanting to know every single detail about the actors in the show and with that, there were reports that Dilip Joshi aka Jethalal lives in a mansion.
So if you’re wondering that he must be staying in a luxury mansion, then let us tell you, the reports are not true. We recently came across an old interview of Dilip where he revealed that he read somewhere on social media and saw pictures on the internet which claimed that he lived in a mansion. He also said his friends actually believed in these rumours and asked him to show his sprawling mansion. To which, the actor jokingly told his friends to show him the mansion as well, once they find it. Putting all the speculations to rest, Dilip Joshi denied living in a palatial house and also requested people not to believe in such rumours.
Meanwhile, the show was on break for 3 months due to Coronavirus lockdown. However, as the government has effectively started with Unlock 1 and have allowed shooting, we might soon get to see the favourite characters again onscreen.
