Months after sharing a cryptic couplet on Twitter, which led to speculations of all not being well between Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash, the actor has now issued a clarification
Renowned television actors Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash enjoy a huge fanbase. TejRan, as their fans like to call them, has become one of the most adored couples in the entertainment industry. They have been setting couple goals ever since they met in Bigg Boss 15 and made their relationship official. From spending quality time together amidst their hectic shooting schedule to visiting each other on the sets of their shows, the couple left no stone unturned to leave their fans in awe of their romance.
However, earlier in March, a cryptic tweet by Karan had left their fans speculating if all was not well between the couple. He had shared a couplet that read, “Na teri shaan kam hoti.. na rutba ghata hota.. jo ghamand mein kaha.. wahi hass ke kaha hota.” Netizens had immediately taken to the comments section of his post to criticise him, thinking he was referring to Tejasswi’s success. In an interview with India Today, the 38-year-old actor shared how if he posts a poetic message on social media, it is only because he wants to share it. He expressed how it will never be related to the Naagin actress as she is his girlfriend. He added how he wouldn’t even write a cryptic post for his exes. Karan went on to share how people are too focused on the social media posts that the couple makes which leads them to have extreme reactions and conclusions. Quoted by Hindustan Times, the actor said, “If Tejasswi puts up a picture and if I'm in the shot and we shoot very nearby each other. In four hours, I would have some thousand comments asking ‘why has he not liked the picture’, and ‘who else is going to like it’. I chose the outfit, I was there, and I was literally clicking pictures for her. It's very interesting because life is not all about social media. People just come up with their own conclusions.”
Talking about their ongoing projects, Tejasswi is the lead of Naagin 6, where she plays the character of Prarthana, Pratha’s daughter. On the other hand, Karan is one of the leads in Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, a fantasy drama where two werewolf brothers fall in love with a young human girl. The supernatural drama also stars Gashmeer Mahajani and Reem Shaikh. Both the television serials air on Colors and are widely watched by the audience.
