Tejasswi Prakash On Being Body-Shamed And Called Hanger In School: ‘People Used To Say 5 Rupay Ka Coin Apni Pocket Mei Dal, Varna Udd Jayegi'

Bigg Boss 15 winner Tejasswi Prakash is currently in a happy space both in her personal and professional life. She won millions of hearts with her stint on the Salman Khan-hosted reality show and post that she is just unstoppable. However, Tejasswi had her fair share of struggles and lows. In fact, she dealt with body-shaming not just after entering the industry but since her teenage days. In a recent interview, the Naagin 6 actress recalled how she was called a ‘hanger’ and body-shamed during her school days.

Speaking with iDiva, Tejasswi revealed that during her school days she was mocked by other kids because of her being extremely thin. They used to call her 'hanger'. The actress was quoted saying, “I used to be extremely skinny in school. Like people used to call me a hanger. I was extra skinny. The Swaragini actress had earlier spoken about facing body-shaming in the showbiz industry during the initial phase of her career. Tejasswi revealed that she received nasty and negative comments about her body and was ridiculed because of her weight. However, the actress has now learned to deal with it and remains unfazed.

Work-wise, Tejasswi is currently seen playing the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s supernatural show Naagin 6 which has taken a leap. She will now essay the role of the present character Pratha's daughter in the leap part. On the personal front, she is dating actor Karan Kundrra and is often spotted spending time with him. The couple fell in love inside Bigg Boss' house and since then, they have been getting stronger in their relationship.
