Stand-Up Comedian Abijit Ganguly, Who Accused Kapil Sharma Of Plagiarism, Mocks His Angry Fans Now

Abijit Ganguly’s latest stand-up routine is called Sleepless Nights With Kapil and the comedian has delved into the recent plagiarism row between him and Kapil Sharma to create comedy gold.

Earlier last month, Abijit stirred a hornet’s nest when he wrote a Facebook post accusing Kapil Sharma of lifting his jokes. Abijit, stated that in The Kapil Sharma Show Kiku Sharda told the same jokes. Abijit had posted two videos as proof of plagiarism and his post went viral.

Soon enough, fans of Kapil Sharma started targeting Abijit on various social media platforms and he received a lot of online abuse. But he has turned that ugly episode into a comedy routine where he mocks the rabid fans of Kapil Sharma.Take a look:

The stand-up comic has hit back at all the victim-blaming that followed the incident and the trolls who called him names.

Abijit says that Kapilians did not understand what the word ‘plagiarism’ meant and came up with illogical retorts like ‘Kapil ko kabhi plague nahi hua’.

Well, this is not the first time that Kapil Sharma has grabbed headlines for the wrong reasons in the recent past.

The Kapil Sharma Show was one of the top three TV shows in India at one point. Then Kapil Sharma brawled with Sunil Grover and Chandan Prabhakar while on a flight from Australia and a mass exodus of talent took place from the show.

After Sunil Grover, Chandan Prabhakar, Ali Asgar and Sugandha Mishra’s exit, the show’s viewership dropped many notches.
