The show will air on Star Plus and one of the reasons Aarambh was postponed earlier was the lack of a slot for it. But now the channel has decided that it will not keep Tanuja waiting any longer.

Buzz is, Aarambh will replace the thriller series Koi Lautke Aaya Hai starring Surbhi Jyoti and Shoaib Ibrahim. Though the show has got a good response from the audience, producers have decided to wrap up the soap in the month of June. After that Aarambh, will get its aarambh on the small screen.

Aarambh is reportedly a period drama which will take the audience back to the era of the Aryans and Dravidians Hahuma, the spiritual leader of Dravidians, and is seen prophesying the future of Dravidians as well as Aryans. The show stars Karthika Nair and Rajniesh Duggall as the leads and will be directed by Goldie Behl.

Karthika plays Devsena, the princess leading the Dravidian clan, who are ambushed by the Aryans. Varundev plays Rajniesh Duggall, an Aryan warrior. Aarambh revolves around the love story of these two people who belong to enemy clans.

Aarambh has been written by K V Vijayendra Prasad, whose resume includes films like Baahubali, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali 2.
