Actor Krishna Bhardwaj who essays the title role in his ongoing show Tenali Rama is celebrating his birthday today. The actor spoke to us about the best gift that he has ever received.
Actor Krishna Bhardwaj who essays the title role in his ongoing show Tenali Rama is celebrating his birthday today. As we are still living in this pandemic situation, Krishna has found out a way to make his birthday special. Talking to us exclusively on his birthday, today morning Krishna not only revealed his plans for the day but also disclosed what is the best gift he has got till now.
Krishna says, "Like every year I am celebrating my birthday on my sets. Most of the time I try to be working on my birthdays. Because I find it lucky. I have taken half day leave also but haven't planned anything as lockdown is still there and we have to follow social distancing now also. But my flatmate has arranged something for me with my 2-3 other friends. So that could be a celebration. Apart from that, I have arranged for lunch for my entire crew tomorrow along with Rabdi and Jalebi".
However, the actor's idea of having a perfect birthday is different. He adds, "For me, the perfect way to celebrate birthday is to go to any orphanage or an old age home. Give them gifts and make them smile. I have celebrated my birthday with this idea lot many times and I still feel the need to keep doing it. The NGO's I am associated with help me to do this even more often".
Revealing the best gift he has ever received until now Krishna says, "I think the God the universe and my Guruji has given me the best gift till date is Tenali Rama for me. And I got this show in the month of my birthday; only we went on-air on July 11 and my birthday is on 18. So I always believe that Tenali Rama is my birthday gift by the universe. Nothing could be better than this because I am living a very content and happy life. Whatever I have right now and what I am is because of this show. It gave me fans and whenever I see my fan pages on Instagram I get overwhelmed. There are very few pages but I love them all especially. They are young kids who address me as 'Bhaiya' and that makes me feel extra special".
Before concluding the conversation Krishna did tell us how does it feel to shoot in this new normal, "We are back on the sets and normal has a new definition. Life is little difficult outside the sets. But the best what has happened is sets are cleaner and hygienic than before. We as an actor can't touch, slap, hug or kiss to other actors. These are some obstructions as many a times scenes require to get that feel. But I feel happy that we are back onsets and started shooting".
