The Big Picture: Ranveer Singh Breaks Down In TEARS As He Welcomes His ‘God’ Govinda On The Show; Duo Set The Stage On Fire With Their Amazing Dance Moves-Video Inside
Ranveer Singh surely couldn't have asked for better as his 'idol' Govinda appeared on his show ‘The Big Picture’ on New Year. The Simmba star got emotional on meeting his ‘childhood idol’ and ‘God’ Govinda. Ranveer broke down in tears and was seen touching his feel as he welcomes Hero No. 1 actor. From grooving to Govinda’s peppy dance numbers to recreating his iconic dialogues, Ranveer- Govinda set the stage on fire with their strong camaraderie.

In the episode, Ranveer was seen crying on meeting Govinda and the latter tried to calm him down.  While introducing the Coolie No 1 star to the audience, Ranveer called him his ‘God’.  He said, “On this blessed day, my God himself is coming to meet us. The one and only, the hero number one, Govinda.” The '83' star was also seen lying at Govinda's feet, holding them tight.

Ranveer and Govinda also danced on the latter’s chartbuster songs, such as ‘Ishq Hai Suhana’, ‘UP Wala Thumka.’ Govinda’s expressions and his unique dancing style left the audience mesmerized. Govinda's family--wife Sunita, daughter Tina and son Yashvardan Ahuja also joined him in through a video call.

Ranveer also revealed that he learned to rap through Govinda's song, ‘Stop That’ from Gambler. Interestingly, the Band Baaja Baaraat actor has often expressed his love and admiration for Govinda. In an earlier interview, Ranveer had mentioned that “Govinda was the one reason he use to watch films and called himself his biggest fan. He added, he has seen his films, some of them more than 50 times.” ALSO READ: Ranveer Singh Opens Up On Completing 10 Years In Bollywood: ‘This Journey Has Been Beyond My Wildest Imagination, I'm Hungrier Than Ever Before’
