Akshay Kumar is currently on a promotional spree ahead of his upcoming periodic drama titled - Prithviraj. The 54-year-old actor will be seen romancing the 25-year-old Miss World and actor Manushi Chhillar in the film.
While the promotions of the film have started in full swing the on-screen couple will be seen making an appearance at The Kapil Sharma Show. Interestingly, Kapil Sharma couldn’t stop making fun of Akshay.
In a now-viral video, Kapil is seen pulling up Akshay Kumar’s leg. Kapil quipped, “Akshay paaji used to romance Madhuri when we used to study in school. When we came to college, he used to appear in films with Bipasha and Katrina. Now he is romancing Kiara, Kriti and Manushi. We were born only to interview these actresses.”
Fans were left in splits and many even reacted to the video.
A user wrote, “Akshay paaji's charm is like this.” Another wrote, “No one has stopped old actresses from working with young boys. It is the responsibility of the producers.”
In a rather shocking turn of events, Kapil’s joke seems to have backfired on him as many laughed at Kapil Sharma’s joke, while many enjoyed watching Akki being trolled.
Helmed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, 'Prithviraj' revolves around legendary warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. Akshay Kumar plays the titular role while Manushi plays Sanyogita.
The actor, who will portray king Prithviraj Chauhan in the film, admitted that he felt like "a kid in a candy store" when he got to know the scale of action that he will get to perform in 'Prithviraj'.
