Anil Kapoor will be seen in the upcoming episode of The Kapil Sharma Show, along with his Thar co-star Satish Kaushik. It is known that Anil's daughter Sonam Kapoor is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Anand Ahuja. On Kapil's show, Anil was asked about his reaction to becoming a grandfather. And as expected, Anil gave an epic response.
The makers of the show shared a promo which showed Anil arriving on stage in a white tee-pants paired with a white overcoat. Kapil asked him, "Jab aapne suni ki aap nana banne wale hai, toh aapne apne aap ko thoda bada mehsoor kia ya 5 saal aur chhote ho gaye aap?"
The veteran actor replied, "Jaise tu ghar mein shadishuda hai, bahar to tu kuwara hi ghoomta hai, toh main bhi ghar me nana hu, bahar main..." Kapil ended his sentence with "jhakaas". Anil reacted to the promo on Twitter saying, "One of the best @KapilSharmaK9 shows I have done with the best comic actors of today... please watch (laughing emojis) thank you for making me part of your journey Kapil... love you."
Sonam Kapoor announced her pregnancy last month. She had shared a bunch of pictures with her hubby and captioned it, "Four hands. To raise you the very best we can. Two hearts. That will beat in unison with yours, every step of the way. One family. Who will shower you with love and support. We can't wait to welcome you (heart emojis) #everydayphenomenal #comingthisfall2022."
Anil Kapoor had penned a note for the couple. Sharing Sonam's photos, he captioned, "Now preparing for the most exciting role of my life - GRANDFATHER!! Our lives will never be the same again and I couldn't be more grateful! @sonamkapoor & @anandahuja you have made us happy beyond measure with this incredible news!"
