The promotions of Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey are in full swing and the on-screen couple will be seen making an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. Well, there’s no doubt, the upcoming episode of the comedy show is going to be a fun and hilarious ride. Now, a new promo featured the cast members Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda caricaturing Dharmendra and Sunny Deol, respectively.
In the promo, Krushna, as Dharmendra, gave Shahid tips on how to make a drink.

Kiku wondered why he was giving such basic instructions to Shahid, Krushna explained, “Tune Kabir Singh nahi dekhi kya? Baraf galat jagah pe daal rahe the woh.” Shahid made a goofy face halfway through the joke but cracked up afterwards.
For the unversed, the joke is in reference to Shahid Kapoor’s movie Kabir Singh in which he is seen as a raging alcoholic who puts ice cubes down his pants.
Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Kabir Singh also starred Kiara Advani as the female lead. The film was criticised for allegedly endorsing toxic masculinity but was a major box office success. With earnings of over ₹250 crore, the film was the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2019, after Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff-starrer War.
