The Kapil Sharma Show: Vicky Kaushal Is In Splits As Kiku Sharda Reveals Why Shah Rukh Khan Is 'Upset' With Him-Watch Promo
Vicky Kaushal and Shoojit Sarcar will be seen promoting their upcoming film Sardar Udham on The Kapil Sharma Show.
Actor Vicky Kaushal and director Shoojit Sarcar will make an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. They will promote their upcoming film Sardar Udham on the show. A new promo of the forthcoming episode was shared by the makers, and going by it, we can assure this episode is going to be one hell of a ride.
In the said promo, Kiku Sharda's character, a lawyer who goes by a funny name, jokes that Shah Rukh Khan is angry with Vicky Kaushal. He then goes on to explain the reason.
“You know Shah Rukh Khan ji aapse kaafi khafa hai. Wo sabse keh rahe the ki ‘Vicky Kaushal ne abhi tak meri Josh film kyun nahi dekhi?’"
“How do you know he hasn't watched it yet?” Kapil asks Kiku.
“Arre, he keeps asking everyone, 'How's the josh, how's the josh, how's the josh?'” Kiku replies, leaving everyone in splits.
For the unversed, the phrase ‘how’s the josh' became a popular war call after the release of Vicky's war film, Uri: The Surgical Strike. The movie, directed by Aditya Dhar, was released in 2019 and was based on the surgical strikes that took place in Uri, Kashmir, in 2016.
And Shah Rukh Khan’s Josh was released in 2000. The film also featured Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as his twin sister.
Vicky Kaushal's upcoming film Sardar Udham will premiere on October 16 on Amazon Prime Video. The film chronicles the life and times of Sardar Udham Singh - a ‘revolutionary’ who killed Michael O'Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab, on March 13, 1940, in London.
