The Indian adaptation of a popular Israeli series, Hatufim by Gideon Raff, the Nikkhil Advani directorial stars Purab Kohli, Sandhya Mridul, Satyadeep Mishra and Amrita Puri in lead roles.

The thriller is set against the backdrop of the Kargil War. Actor Purab Kohli and Satyadeep Mishra play Indian soldiers who escape jail 17 years after being falsely convicted by Pakistan. Sandhya Mridul and Amrita Puri play Satyadeep and Purab’s wives respectively. The show begins from October 14 on Star Plus.
Nikkhil Advani has helmed films such as Kal Ho Na Ho (2003), D-Day (2013), Hero (2015) and Katti Batti (2015) in the past. From the looks of it, the series is going to be an intense ride.
