If you were an ardent viewer of Colors' Daastan-E-Mohabbat, then this one's a bad news for you! SpotboyE.com has it exclusive that the channel has decided to put an end to the show, 3 months after it went on-air. That's right, the show, featuring Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria will shoot its last episode tomorrow on its Mira Road sets. It seems that the show failed to live up to the expectations and was rarely among the top 10 in TRPs list.
We spoke to the show's producer, Anirudh Pathak, who confirmed the development to us. "It’s sudden and tragic but I respect the decision of Colors. We are planning to revive the same idea for other OTT platforms with same cast & crew." The show premiered on Oct 1, 2018.
Shaheer and Sonarika
There was a strong buzz in the industry that the show will be getting a new time slot and will be pushed to 11:30 pm. But the latest development is little shocking as the channel has decided to pull the show off-air.
We also hear another show, titled Gathbandhan, will replace the show. It is apparently about a love story between Gujrati IPS officer and Mumbai Ka Don. Coming to Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria's Daastan-E-Mohabbat, looks like it's time to bid goodbye to their love story.
