Tunisha Sharma’s Post-Mortem reports revealed she died of suffocation due to hanging and that she was not pregnant
Television actress Tunisha Sharma’s death case is being investigated by Mumbai Police and so far one arrest has been made. For the unversed, the actress was found dead in a makeup room on the sets of her show ‘Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabul’ on December 24. Tunisha’s untimely death has left everyone shocked with fans expressing their disbelief that she committed suicide. Now, the post-mortem reports of the actress have confirmed she died due to hanging. It also clarified that Tunisha was not pregnant, contrary to rumours.
Addressing the media in a press conference, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Chandrakant Jadhav said Tunisha and Sheezan Khan were in a relationship but they parted ways. The actress took the extreme step of committing suicide 15 days after she broke up with her co-star. The ACP was quoted saying, “Tunisha Sharma used to work as an actress in a TV show. Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan had a love affair. He added, “Tunisha’s mother had filed a complaint and accused Sheezan was arrested and later produced in the court which sent him to four-days judicial custody. The post-mortem report clearly specifies the cause of death of Tunisha as hanging.”
Her post-mortem was done by a team of 4-5 doctors at JJ hospital in Mumbai on December 25. Her mortal remains will be handed over to her family today and Tunisha’s cremation is expected to take place on December 26. Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Etimes, Tunisha’s uncle claimed that her breakup with Sheezan Khan could be the reason behind her ending her life. He also revealed the late actress suffered a panic attack five-six days ago and visited a doctor.
