TV Actor Preetika Chauhan ARRESTED By NCB In Drugs Case, Caught Red-Handed For Buying Drugs- Reports
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested television actor Preetika Chauhan while buying drugs, reports India Today. According to the report, the actress was caught red-handed for buying drugs. She has been a part of TV shows such as like Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, Savdhaan India and Devo ke Dev Mahadev. 

The NCB officials were reportedly in plain clothes, and were stationed at two places in Mumbai's Versova. Five people were arrested in the operation.  Meanwhile, a report in ANI states that a team of Mumbai Zonal Unit seized 99 grams of Ganja from Preetika and another man named Faisal. Both of them were arrested and produced before the court. The tweet read, "A team of Mumbai Zonal Unit apprehended two persons at Machhimar, Versova, and succeeded in a seizure of 99 grams of Ganja from their possession, yesterday. The two persons - one Faisal & TV actor Preetika Chauhan - were arrested & produced before court: Narcotics Control Bureau."



This report comes in the wake of the drug probe by the NCB after Sushant Singh Rajput's death. The investigation into the drugs probe intensified further after certain WhatsApp messages of Rhea Chakraborty allegedly discussing drugs surfaced. As the investigation went on, several names from the film industry emerged as well, and a few actors were summoned by the NCB for questioning.
