Shiny was dating Ahmedabad businessman Mausam Patel while working on the show Saraswatichandra and managed to keep it a secret for the longest time. However, recently the actress herself revealed in an interview to Times Now, that she was approached to participate in Nach Baliye 9 but she couldn't do it because she had no partner, "It’s just been a year and a half since I did KKK. After that, I was offered other shows that I did feel like I would fit in. I would love to be a part of a dance reality show but nothing has come my way yet. I was approached for Nach Baliye but I have no baliye to dance with. (laughs) I would prefer Jhalak Dikhla Jaa so I can dance with a choreographer but even that has not been happening".
Shiny who has been part of shows like Saraswatichandra, Sarojini, Jamai Raja and Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 is currently seen as Radha on Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran which airs on Colors TV.
