TV Shoot Comes To A Halt For 3 Days As Actor Tests Positive For COVID-19
After three months of thorough lockdown, the Government granted permission to the producers of TV shows to resume shooting. However, strict guidelines have been set and all the crew members have to follow it religiously. Despite following all the rules, the shooting of the show Ek Mahanayak - Dr BR Ambedkar had to be brought to a halt as an actor tested positive for Coronavirus. As per a report in ETimes, actor Jagannath Nivangune has tested positive for COVID-19, following which the shooting of the show has been stalled for three days.

The actor who has tested positive essays the role of Bheemrao’s father in the show. Further, a report in IWMBuzz suggests that Jagannath is on the road of recovery. The production house sent out a statement saying that they are tracing all the crew members who have come in contact with the actor and are trying to provide them with medical facilities.

The statement reads, "While all the necessary precautions were taken across all our sets covering important aspects like hygiene, sanitation, and risk mitigation in line with the guidelines advised by the Government of Maharashtra, it is extremely unfortunate that a member of our crew has contracted the virus. We have directly referred the concerned member to competent medical authorities for immediate treatment and care. We are in the process of tracing people who may have had direct contact with him and helping all artists, crew members and staff with all necessary medical facilities, recommending them to immediately self-isolate in the event that they exhibit any of the symptoms associated with the virus. All precautionary measures have been implemented at the sets, and as per government guidelines, the set will be non-operational for a period of three days for complete sanitization," as reported by the portal.

Further, reports also suggest that a crew member on the sets of TV show Mere Sai also tested positive for Coronavirus. After three days of halt, the makers are resuming the shooting of the show today. (Also Read: Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai's Aasif Sheikh On Pay Cuts: 'Wheels Should Keep Moving'- EXCLUSIVE)
