Urvashi Dholakia On Sending Her Twins To Boarding School At A Very Young Age, 'It Put Me Under Massive Depression'
TV star Urvashi Dholakia, who rose to fame with her performance as the iconic Komolika in Kasauti Zindagii Kay, is quite a family woman. The actress embraced motherhood at a very young age of 17 and has twins named Sagar and Kshitij. In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Urvashi revealed how she was hardly a part of their sons’ childhood, as she had to send them to boarding school due to professional commitments. And while Dholakia was depressed throughout the phase, she revealed how it was for their good only.

Urvashi, in her interview, revealed that she barely got to see her sons grow. She said, “Unfortunately, that is something that did come to my mind that I had barely been able to give them any time, and because of that, I had to send them to the boarding school. I had no other choice. I was never happy with the decision of sending them away. It put me under a massive depression but on the other hand, I had to do it for their future.”

“I did not see them grow but I am happy that I gave them time when they were back. I had to restart my work after a point and then I did Bigg Boss and that was the only time I was away from them. Then, I took a conscious decision of not wanting to work. I decided I have to see them grow because I couldn’t see them grow during their childhood,” she added.

Not very long ago, Urvashi, in a conversation with us, had revealed that she is diagnosed with Tennis Elbow for being on her phone all day. The actress stated, “Some days back, I got diagnosed with tennis elbow. Phone ko pakad pakadkar ye hogaya hai. Kyunki mera saara kaam isspar hota hai. For my show at times I edit myself, like most of the introductions you see, are edited by me.” Read the full conversation here.
