Vaishali Takkar Suicide Case: Ex-Boyfriend Rahul Navlani, Who Harassed TV Actress, Gets ARRESTED; His Wife Disha Is Still On A Run
Vaishali Takkar’s ex-boyfriend and prime accused Rahul Navlani has been arrested in Indore
Popular TV actress Vaishali Takkar was recently found dead at her residence in Indore. Police found five-page suicide note on the spot and it alleged that her ex-boyfriend and neighbour Rahul Navlani was harassing the actress due to which she took this extreme step to end her life. Since then, Police was in his search. Now three days after Vaishali’s death, Madhya Pradesh Police on Wednesday night nabbed Rahul who has been accused of abetting the actress suicide.
Confirming the same, Indore Commissioner of Police (CP), Harinarayan Chari Mishra told ANI, “A reward of Rs 5000 and a lookout circular was issued against him at all the airports in view of the possibility of him running out of the country. Three teams of police were sent to different states to nab him. Today he was arrested near Indore.” While Rahul has been arrested, his wife Disha, is still missing and the cops are now searching for her. The police also revealed that Rahul Navlani’s phone and other electronic devices have been seized as part of investigation. Rahul Navlani came under the radar after his name cropped up in the suicide note written by Vaishali. Even her brother Neeraj confirmed it and said Rahul used to harass and blackmail his sister. He also mentioned how Rahul even called off her engagement with another man whom she was supposed to get married this year. Speaking to media, Neeraj had said, “Woh usse aksar dhamkata tha ki tera ghar nahi basne dunga...shaadi nahi hone dunga. Dairy mein Vaishali ne sab relationship ke baare mein likh rakha tha. Jis ladke se sagai hui thi, usko Rahul message karta tha aur Vaishali ko dhamkata tha.”
The 29-year-old Vaishali was a popular face in the television industry. She starred in several popular shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Rakshabandhan, Super Sisters, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and others.
