Varun Badola Takes A Break From Mere Dad Ki Dulhan After Wife Rajeshwari Sachdev Tests Positive For Coronavirus
Mere Dad Ki Dulhan actor Varun Badola has decided to go on a break, after his wife Rajeshwari Sachdev tested positive for COVID-19 and while he awaits for his test results
TV actor Varun Badola has already decided to take some precautionary measures after wife and actress Rajeshwari Sachdev tested positive for COVID-19. As per reports in ETimes TV, the actor will be taking a break and would be staying back at home so that his colleagues or people around him on TV sets are safe. The actor shared that even if his test results are negative for this Novel Coronavirus, he would stay back at home, as he feels we as a society can only defeat this disease if one takes this as a social responsibility.
Also these are trick times, as Varun who is currently seen in TV show Mere Dad Ki Dulhan has the wedding sequence being shot and he being the groom, everything depends on him. However, he had a word with the show’s producer and now waits for their final call. “Look, you never know yeh virus kahan se aata hai aur kaise aata hai. So why not be responsible instead if we really want to fight this pandemic and win? This would only happen if each one of us understands his social responsibility towards others,” said the actor. Waiting for the producers' reply he said, “Yes, I have asked for a moral break. Let's see what happens.” Also waits for his test results to be out.
Speaking of Rajeshwari's home isolation he said, “She's in the adjoining room. We talk just via mobile phone and not even through doors as I have kaafi mote darwaze in my house which are more or less sound proof. So she'll have to really exert herself unnecessarily and she's been a bit weak due to COVID-19.”
Adding further he shared that his wife suffered cold for 5 days, post which she quarantined herself 4 days ago and only got tested for it 2 days ago. He further added being worried for parents and kid, he said, “Moreover, I have aged parents and my kid at home. Parents are safe and secure as we have a duplex, but you know how one tends to get tensed despite the distance being maintained. As a responsible couple, they informed everyone who met them in the recent times, followed by the actor sharing a horrifying case of a person who was tested positive for COVID-19, urging people to be careful. “There's a person who's on the ventilator despite having tested negative for COVID-19 twice. Hence, other people must have come near him thinking that 'chalo, COVID-19 toh nahi hai'- but the horror is that he has tested positive only after his third test. What do you do in such a case? How do you avoid the virus from spreading and making further inroads?,” he added.
