Vidisha Srivastava Returns To Work A Month After Giving Birth To Her Daughter Aadya; Says, ‘It Was A Mutual Decision, Since I Recovered Quickly’

Television actress Vidisha Srivastava had taken the social media by storm with her bold pregnancy photo shoot in June 2023. She welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Aadya, with her hubby Sayak Paul about a month ago. While the fans are in awe, the actress has even returned to work after her recovery, setting an inspiration for women. She even took to her official social media handle to share the news with her followers.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, on Monday, she shared a mirror selfie where she was seen sitting in her makeup room. Vidisha looked beautiful as she flaunted her new mommy glow. Dressed in a black dress, she had tied her half of her hair at the back of her head and opted for minimal make-up. She even opened up about returning to work after her maternal leave during an interview with Times Now Digital. She expressed how she took her daughter to the set on her first day back as she can’t “leave my mother duties as well.” The actress added that she isn’t back to working full-time. Talking about how supportive her family and hubby have been throughout her pregnancy, the 32-year-old actress credited her mother for being her pillar of support. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she added, “She takes care of my baby when I do the shoot. My husband has also supported me a lot. It was a mutual decision of the production and me to come for the shoot, since I recovered quickly.”
For the unversed, the actress, who essays the role of Anita Vibhutinarayan Mishra on Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai, tied the knot with Sayak in 2018. They welcomed a beautiful daughter in 2023 after going through over 18 hours of labour. Fans have been showering her with love and support on her social media posts.
