Vighnaharta Ganesh: Vishal Kotian To Replace Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Paras Chhabra

Paras Chhabra who essayed the role of Raavan gained a lot of appreciation for his villainous role in the mythological show Vighnaharta Ganesh. However, there’s a bad news for fans as the former is now going to be replaced by Vishal Kotian. Paras had left this show as he wanted to enter the ongoing Bigg Boss 13’s house. Knowing that it will take some time for him to return and the actor is currently making noise in Bigg Boss 13 house, the makers brought in a new Raavan in Vishal who was last seen as Birbal in historical show Har Mushkil Ka Hal Akbar Birbal. Talking about the character, Vishal said that from Birbal to Raavan, it’s been a long and exciting journey.

Talking to Times Of India, Vishal said, “After Birbal ended in 2017, I was gearing up to play an action hero in a new show, but it didn’t happen. Though I got a few offers for comedy shows, I wanted to attempt something different. That’s when I tried my hand at hosting a sports show, which has been a learning experience for me.”

He was further quoted by the portal saying that he was lucky enough not to be typecasted by people as he was doing a lot of comedy shows. Over the past 19 years, he has been a part of drama, comedy, action, historical and now, mythology shows. Talking about the character, Vishal feels that playing Raavan will be quite challenging.

This is not the first mythological show for Vishal Kotian, he was also seen Mohit Raina’s Devon Ke Dev Mahadev where he played the role of Hanuman. Since we have seen him portraying different characters in the past, it would be interesting to see him as Raavan in Vighnaharta Ganesh.
