Due to low TRPs and the shows main lead, Parth Samthaan's decision of not continuing the show, makers came to this conclusion and now we get you another major development about the show which may shatter fans completely. The whole cast has been informed about the decision officially now and they will be shooting their last day soon.
A reliable source informs us, "The producers have decided to shoot the shows on the last day of October 3. The team has been informed about the channel's decision and it has come as a shock to many who were still believing in the show's fate. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 premiered on September 25, 2018. The show which is a recreation of Ekta Kapoor's one of the most popular shows Kasautii Zindagii Kay originally starring Shweta Tiwari, Cezzane Khan, Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia created a lot of buzz when it was announced. Not just fans and the audiences but the entire TV industry was keen to know who will play the iconic characters this time. And a lot of speculation around the names was being made. However the TV czarina surprised everyone by getting two unexpected faces on board, Erica Fernandes as new Prerna and Parth Samthaan as her Anurag who also managed to win audience hearts and be on the TRP chart. However, just like other shows, this show too was temporarily put off air in March after the shoots had come to a halt after coronavirus breakdown. The show re-started shooting in June end and unfortunately the show's main lead Parth Samthaan tested positive for coronavirus and again for a few days the shoot was brought to a halt. Later we learnt that Parth decided to opt out from the show to attend to his health. All of this led the makers to shut down the show.
Along with Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes, the show also stars Pooja Banerjee, Karan Patel, Shubhaavi Choksey and Aamna Sharif.
