Paras Kalnawat has yet again spoken up about his experience of working on the chaotic sets of Anupamaa
Television actor Paras Kalnawat, who is currently essaying the role of Rajveer in Kundali Bhagya, has been making the headlines for his shocking revelations. He had recently taken to his social media handle to share the reason behind him leaving Anupamaa. Days after his Ask Me Anything session went viral, his co-stars from the Rupali Ganguly starrer had gone on to refuse the claim. Now, during an interview with a media publication he has opened up about yet another one of his experiences.
In his interaction with Hindustan Times, he expressed how he spoke to his co-star’s after they refused claims of 80% of the cast wanting to leave the show because of the chaotic environment. He revealed how it hurt him that they dismissed his experience. He went on to explain how he spoke to them about their statements and even sent them proofs, like screenshots of the messages, of his claims. The 26-year-old further shared how the cast would often fight and scream at each other, dragging others including him, who didn’t wanna be involved, into those fights. Quoted by India TV, he added, “It was an ugly rat race and ego clash where no actor could see others doing better than them. Instead of supporting each other, they were pulling the other person down. You won’t even see a 16-year-old fighting over topics they used to fight about.”
Paras also spoke about how he doesn’t want to disclose much of what he went through on the set as it has been a year. Talking about why he chose to do Jhalak Dikhla Jaa over Anupamaa, he said, “After our shots, I used to be in my room, and didn’t feel like stepping out unless I had a scene because of the all the chaos outside. This made life so difficult that I decided to choose reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa over Anupamaa when a choice was given.”
On the work front, he is currently being showered with love from his fans for his portrayal of Rajveer in Kundali Bhagya.
