Akanksha Puri opened up about the rumours of her dating Bigg Boss 16’s first runner-up Shiv Thakare
Reality show star Shiv Thakare enjoys a huge fan base. His stint in Bigg Boss Marathi season 2 and Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 16 has made him a household name. His guy-next-door personality on the shows was lauded by the audience. For the past couple of days, Shiv was spotted with actress Akanksha Puri during a few events together. Their closeness sparked dating rumours which left the fans excited to know if their favourite celebrities are indeed in a relationship.
Now in an interaction with an entertainment portal, Akanksha was asked about the same. Refuting the rumours, she told India Forums that the reports were just making her laugh. She went on to reveal that Shiv is a nice guy and that he is a sweetheart, however, the news is not accurate at all. She said, “I am just laughing at the news. The news is not accurate at all. Having started his journey with a contestant in Roadies Rising, Shiv became one of the first celebrities to become a part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. It had been reported earlier that he is also one of the highest paid celebrities on the dangerous reality show. While there is no confirmation on the numbers, it was stated by Siasat.com that Thakare has charged between Rs 5 lakh to 8 lakh for every episode. Which means, the Bigg Boss 16 star will make anything between Rs 10 lakh to Rs 16 lakh per week.
