WHAT! Dipika Kakar QUITS Acting, Reveals She Is Tired Working; Says, ‘I Want To Live As A Housewife And A Mother’
Dipika Kakar recently revealed that she has decided to quit her career as an actress to focus on her family and kids
Television actress Dipika Kakar, who rose to fame with Sasural Simar Ka, has decided to quit acting. She is all set to embrace motherhood with hubby Shoaib Ibrahim, and wants to focus on being a housewife and a mother. The new parents-to-be have been over the moon sharing their experiences as first parents through their YouTube channels. While they await the arrival of their baby, the actress recently opened up about her decision to quit acting.
Talking to Telly Chakkar about the same, she explained how she is enjoying her pregnancy phase and is excited to welcome their first child. Having started working at a very young age, she now wants to live her life as a housewife and a mother. She said, “I am enjoying this phase of pregnancy and welcoming our first child. The excitement is on another level. I started working at a very young age and continued for about 10 – 15 years at a stretch. As my pregnancy journey began, I told Shoaib that I don’t want to work and want to quit acting. Dipika was last seen in Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum alongside Karan V Grover, where she essayed the role of Sonakshi, who is an actress by profession. She had also made a cameo appearance in Sasural Simar Ka Season 2, reprising her role of Simar. She had also gone on to participate and win Bigg Boss season 12. For the unversed, Dipika and Shoaib first met and fell in love on the sets of their show ‘Sasural Simar Ka.’ The duo got married in 2018 in an intimate wedding with just family members and close friends in attendance. They announced their current pregnancy earlier in January.
