Shehnaaz Gill will reportedly replace Karan Kundrra as jailor on Kangana Ranaut’s show Lock Upp
Good news for all Shehnaaz Gill fans! The Bigg Boss 13 fame actress will reportedly replace Karan Kundrra as jailor on Kangana Ranaut- hosted controversial reality show 'Lock Upp'. As per the latest report in Tellychakkar, Karan has got busy with the shoot of his new reality show ‘Dance Deewane Juniors’ and thus he won't be able to devote much time to Lock Upp now. It is being said that the makers are keen to rope in Shehnaaz as the new jailor on the show.
The report added this is not the first time that Lock Upp team has approached Gill, earlier too they had approached the actress but due to her other commitments, she did not take it. Reportedly, this time, host Kangana Ranaut has personally asked Shehnaaz to be on her show and the latter could not refuse her request.
A source close to the development revealed to BollywoodLife, "The makers are definitely getting great viewership for Kangana Ranaut. She is doing a fab job but the views are more on days when Karan Kundrra comes as the jailor. It is obvious that Karan Kundrra has been loved on Bigg Boss 15. There is an organic and definite craze for him. He has helped Lock Upp achieve the numbers in a significant manner.” An insider added that the actor’s hosting duties for Dance Deewane Juniors and his other work commitments are making it difficult for him to devote time to Lock Upp. Karan, reportedly, has also signed a Hindi film, which he will announce shortly.
Meanwhile talking about Shehnaaz Gill, the actress is getting back to work and is taking up projects. She took a break and was away from the media glare after her rumoured boyfriend Sidharth Shukla died last year. Gill was last seen in the Punjabi film Honsla Rakh with Diljit Dosanjh. She also appeared on Shilpa Shetty’s new chat show ‘Shape Of You’ and made some candid confessions.
