Wo Jawani Ka Zamana Tha: Amitabh Bachchan Hilariously Responds To KBC 16 Contestant's Question Did He Ever Visited Girls College?
A new promo for Kaun Banega Crorepati 16, hosted by veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, has been released, and it features a fun moment where the iconic actor reminisces about his college days. Amitabh, a graduate of Delhi University's Kirori Mal College (KMC) from the 1962 batch, was asked by a contestant if he ever visited the south campus of Delhi University during his college days. Specifically, she inquired whether he frequented popular south campus colleges like Lady Shri Ram College (LSR), Gargi College, and Kamala Nehru College.

The question seemed to amuse Amitabh, who humorously replied, "Dekhiye devi ji, ab hum shaadi-shuda ho gaye hain, aur nati-pota bhi ho gaye hai. Ab woh zamana jo tha wo jawani ka zamana tha. Uske baare mein abhi batane se poori pole khul jayegi (You see, ma'am, I’m married now and have grandchildren. That was a youthful time, and if I start talking about it now, all my secrets will be out!)." His lighthearted response added a layer of charm, highlighting the actor's witty personality. Amitabh further joked that if he shared too much about his youth, his public image might suffer since KBC is a family show.

Amitabh Bachchan has shared his memories of his college life on Kaun Banega Crorepati before. During an episode of KBC 15, he fondly recalled his time at Kirori Mal College after seeing an introductory video featuring the campus. He spoke nostalgically about his old hostel room, which he mentioned was located in a corner from where students would often jump over the wall to catch movies.

However, despite his lighthearted recollections, Amitabh admitted that he didn't feel particularly successful during his college years. "All the years I spent there proved to be a waste," he said in a more somber tone, adding, "I didn’t achieve anything. I just lost." On the professional front, Amitabh was last seen in the highly anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD alongside major stars like Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Despite his humorous and humble reflections on his college days, his illustrious career as one of Bollywood’s greatest actors tells a different story of immense success and achievement.
