World Environment Day: "We Need To be The Change We Want To See!"- Shantanu Maheshwari

The actor feels that to overcome all the unfortunate incidents that have displaced our environment and mother nature in this taxing phase, can only be reworked on if people who want to see this change happen, take the initiative to make it happen.

Sharing his thoughts on initiating a change for the betterment of our environment, Shantanu shares,"We need to be the change we want to see! And that is something which really needs to be worked on in the need of the hour, for our environment and surroundings which are currently not in good shape. As a generation we have had the privilege to evolve so much! From new ways and discoveries of living, eating, sustaining what we have and even technologically advancing ourselves, we have really done well in those aspects! So what we need to do now to help enhance the surroundings we live in is take charge and use these discoveries to bring about the change in our environment that we want to see. A lot can be done in terms of sustainable living, finding alternatives to things which are of harm to our natural surroundings and importantly showcase these ways of change to the rest of the world to follow, through our diverse technology! Young people of this generation especially will have to live longer with the consequences of current decisions taken in regards with our environment compared to the elders, so all of us need to collectively ensure that these decisions and actions need to only benefit the environment in every possible way!".
