Pranali Rathore and Harshad Chopda are all set to say goodbye to their character Akshara Goenka and Abhimanyu Birla from the serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. one of the most-loved lead pair of the show, fans have been left dejected that they have to say goodbye to their favourites soon. With Samridhii Shukla and Shehzada Dhami all set to take the centre stage with their character Abhira and Armaan, netizens got teary-eyed as Saee Barve, who essays the role of Surekha shared snippets from the cast enjoying their last day of the shoot. 

In an Instagram reel, Saee shared a combination of videos and photos where the cast was seen enjoying their last day together. From cutting cakes to posing with each other, they enjoyed their last day together to the fullest. While many thought that even Harshad and Pranali had shot for their last episode, after the photos emerged on social media, a report by India Forums dismissed the speculation by stating that they are yet to shoot their final scenes. Saee posted the reel with the caption, “Only love #Yrkkh... Talking about the show, it is being reported that while the leads will mark their exit, the Goenka family will be very much a part of the show after the generational leap. It was earlier hinted through a promo that Abhimanyu and Abhir will die in a car accident, leading to Akshara raising her daughter Abhira single-handedly. With Aarohi’s passing in the last episode, it will be seen how the makers set the storyline after the leap. According to a report by Bollywood Life, it seems like Abhira, an aspiring lawyer, will get married to Armaan, who is in love with Ruhi. His family will hate Abhira and she will have to deal with his family’s old-school thoughts.
