Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Divya Bhatnagar tested positive for Coronavirus on November 28. Her temperature was low for the past few days and after checking her oxygen levels, she was on ventilation. Her reports then came positive and was admitted to SRV Hospital, Goregaon as her condition was critical. Now, the latest update in her health suggests that she was on non-invasive ventilation to support her breathing but now she is on the ventilator because of all the exertion of shifting hospitals, confirmed her brother Devashish Bhatnagar. He also mentioned that she has to recover from pneumonia as well.
Her brother Devashish Bhatnagar told TOI about her current condition, “We have shifted Divya to another hospital. She was hospitalised on November 26 and tested positive for COVID-19 on November 28. She was already suffering from pneumonia, which has worsened owing to coronavirus. Initially, she was on non-invasive ventilation to support her breathing but is on the ventilator now because of all the exertion of shifting hospitals. We want her to recover from pneumonia, which has spread.”
Devashish also said that he will be meeting his sister to cheer her up wearing a PPE kit but will not allow their mother to meet Divya, owing to her age and health.
Other than on her health update, Divya tied the knot with Gagan, an artiste manager, following a courtship of five years. However, in an interview, Divya’s mother called the actor’s husband a fraud and had left her. When TOI asked Devashish to comment on the same, he refrained himself from divulging any information and said that is a sensitive topic; hence, Divya Bhatnagar is the better person to talk about it.
