One of the longest running shows on Indian television, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has entertained the audience for over a decade now. Starring Pranali Rathore, Harshad Chopra, Shreyansh Kaurav, Jai Soni and many more in pivotal roles, the makers of the show have kept the fans hooked to their tv screens because of the interesting storylines. The show currently focuses on the Goenka and Birla family going to court for Abhir’s custody battle.

In the previous episodes it was seen that after a crucial waiting period, Akshara, Abhimanyu and Abhinav step in the court to fight for Abhir’s custody. Abhir knowing that his real father wants him back, is miffed as for the kid his father didn’t want him. Desperate to bring Abhir back to the Birla house, Manjiri vows to do everything possible to get the custody of her grandson.


In the upcoming episodes it will be seen that Manjiri’s lawyers will mock Akshara and Abhinav for being unfit parents. Not only will they bring up Abhinav’s poor financial conditions compared to the richness of the Birla’s, but they will also comment on Akshara’s mental health. The lawyers will pass derogatory and personal comments on Akshara frequently getting anxiety attacks and label her as mentally unstable. Akshara will have an emotional breakdown. She will think that is Abhimanyu stooping low and making fun of her panic attacks. This attack on Akshara will leave Manish furious.

According to the new promo released by Star Plus, in the future episodes it will be seen that Abhimanyu will be given Abhir’s custody, leaving Akshara and Abhimanyu emotional. It will be interesting to see how the future episodes of the show pan out.
